SAFE-PRO USA offers thin and lightweight vehicle door armor panels which protect the vehicle occupants from NIJ Level IIIA, NIJ level III and NIJ level III++ rifle threats. This armor panel is constructed of high pressure consolidated unidirectional fiber materials and is compliant to the NIJ Standard 0108.01.
Model: SP-VAI-IIIA (And also Models SP-VAI-III and SP-VAI-III+)
Protection Level: NIJ Standard 0108.01 Level IIIA Stand Alone.
(Also NIJ 0108.01 Level III and III++).
Armor Panel Design: The NIJ level IIIA armor panel is thin and lightweight, which enables it to be inserted into the vehicle door cavity by removing the window trim (or the window). The design maximizes the area of protection and is molded to conform to the door profile.
Driver and Passenger first Row and second Row doors: The vehicle door armor is offered for first row and second row doors.

Quick Tooling and Turnaround Time: Safe-Pro USA uses rapid in-house tooling production system for manufacture of the tooling and the molds required to produce door armor panels.
Material of Construction: The vehicle door armor panels are constructed of 100% unidirectional aramid and as an upgrade, advanced Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene composite.
Vehicle Functionality: Insertion of the armor panel into the vehicle door cavity does not alter or impede either the door or the vehicle functionality.
OEM Parts Stay the Same: Since the door armor is light weight, the existing components of the door are capable of supporting a small increase in weight of the door and there is no need to upgrade the existing door hinges or the brakes, or springs and shocks, or the radiator.
On-Site Training and Installation Support: Safe-Pro USA offers on-site Training for end users in the procedure of installation of the door armor.
Rapid Custom Design of new vehicles: Safe-Pro USA offers rapid design and production scale-up for the manufacture of door armor panels for any vehicle.
